We believe Angel is Mercy’s (see successes) mother.  She was rescued from Animal Care & Control on Jan. 13, 2010.  Angel is sometime shy around strangers, but once she warms up to you she wants to sit in your lap, be petted and give kisses.  Her coat is a mix between smooth and rough and is a beautiful shinny black with a little white on the tail.  Angel does have the “purple” tongue that is associated with Chow but she is only about 2 ½’ tall.  Angel is housebroken, but we are working on the basic commands, crate training and manners so she will be ready for her new forever home.
