As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Betty Bean

Hi Kathy. Nice to here from you.Betty Bean is now aka Freckles Our 11 year old son named her a soon as he saw her in petco....She is doing great in her new home,she has a friend named cinnamon who is our 4year puggle.They get along wonderful. We have been house training her.She is doing good but we decided to enroll her in obedience school at pet smart.She has a lot of energy and a huge yard to release it,but she needs to learn the basic words like sit,down,just some commands..We really love her to death she is just a warm loving lil girl..I have a lot of pics i will mail them to second chance or send me another address and i will send them.maybe one day soon stop at petco to say hello..She also loves going in car with us.. Thank you for giving her a second chance and letting us add her to our family. Margaret Lou and Robbie
