Success Stories

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Boobula

Hello! Sorry I took so long to answer back. I absolutely LOVE both the kittys !! They are truly a blessing for me:) They are adjusting great! Boobula is like my little shadow! He follows me around everywhere in the house and is my lil buddy:). Stubbs is now called Edith :). She has adopted my dad ! She gets really excited whenever he is around. My dad refers to her as "his cat". hehe! They both sleep with me in my King bed, they get half and I get half :)! Thank you so much for bringing us all together! Zoe

Zoe is doing well - and settled immediately into the routine of her new home. She will be starting "school" at the Humane Society next week - a 6 weeks training course. We were still hoping to get her chip id number so that we could provide it to our vet and the local Humane Society. Dale was going to get us that information. We would really appreciate having that information. I have attached Zoe's Christmas pic. Thanks for all you do.

Charlie

THANK YOU ALL FOR CHARLIE. HE S DOING WELL . JUST BARKS TOO MUCH. BUT WE LOVE HIM VERY MUCH. HE HAS NOT PUT ON MUCH WEIGHT. HIS LAST VET VISIT HE WEIGHED 9-1/2 LBS AND THEY HAVE TO TAKE OUT 2 MORE TEETH. BUT EVERY DAY HE GROWS DEARER TO US. I DONT KNOW HOW WE WOULD GET ALONG WITHOUT HIM NOW. DOLORES GOEGGEL

Pistol

Pistol(now named Rocky) is doing great! I took him to the Vet to get his other vaccines. He loves to play outside and fetch. He is a very fast learner and already knows a few tricks and is completely house-broken. We love having him as a new addition to our family. Thanks again for the opportunity to adopt! We LOVE him!

Genna

Genna is now Gidget. She is great! She is doing very well and getting bigger. She has stolen all our hearts and fitting in extremely well. Here are a couple of photos. Thanks
