Success Stories

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Boots

Well hello there boots as you know him is doing well!! We change his name to Ruffis Boots! What an amazing puppy well love in the family and very spoiled!! He is just growing!!!!! Feng Shui

Hi - Feng Shui is now Barkley!!:) He and I are both doing GREAT!!! I absolutely adore him...he's been nothing but great and has completely adjusted!! Soooo happy that I found him. I'll send pics soon:) Thanks Again! Erica Sperlonga

Patunia

Hi: Petunia is doing great! She's quite a character---very bossy, yet playful, with the other dog; she insists on being the "alpha" dog but is very affectionate with me. We've renamed her "gracie". I'm attaching a picture in all her relaxed glory! Thanks. Pat

Cudjo

Hi. Cudjo is doing great. He is such a baby. I get compliments about him all the time (the eyes and how big he is going to be). He is quite a hit. It seems like he never wants to go inside. He loves going on walks and checking everything out. I am anxious for the future. Nicole

Biki

Dear Kathy, Biki is doing great and has been renamed Chloe. She had a few minor illnesses when she went for her first check-up, but they have not slowed her down. She is extremely loved by the entire family and is becoming quite spoiled! She has truly been a blessing. Thanks for having this wonderful organization with volunteers (especially Jan) who dedicate their time and love to these wonderful creatures. I have no picture at this time but I promise to send one the next time I'm at my mom's house. Thanks again for bringing joy into our family. Sincerely,
