Demetri

Hello, Demetri is doing very well! He has been renamed Tyler and is a thriving rambunctious puppy. He is 12 weeks old today and already 20 pounds! He loves to play and chew on his toys. He has a very cute yawn that sounds almost human and he has started obedience classes this past week so he is already responding to his name! He is getting better on his walks and has had very few accidents in the house luckily! He is also sleeping through the night now...thank goodness! Overall, he is a wonderful puppy and we are enjoying training and loving him. He has been a wonderful addition to our family and we are so thankful to Second Chance. Olivia

Olivia is doing amazing, I did rename her Rascal though, it seems to fit so much better. And even though she is only around 10 weeks old she is nearly potty trained, no accidents in 3 days yay! She did not like her crate at first but she is getting used to it. she has lots of new toys and absolutely loves ropes. When she went to her wellness visit we discovered that she had tapeworms but the vet gave her medicine and they seem to be gone, I will find out for sure next week when she goes in for her next round of shots. I love my little puppy so much and can't wait to see how much she grows and learns. Rebecca Marrero

T-Bone

T-Bone is doing great! We changed his name to Jethro (as in Gibbs. My son is a big NCIS fan). We are still learning all his personality traits. He is a very sweet dog with a lot of energy. He gets along well with our other dog, Cookie. Jethro sleeps in our son's room every night, practically laying on top of him! I've attached a picture of Jethro so you can see how happy he is in his new home. Thanks again for saving him for us! The Gale Family

Bitsy

Bitsy is doing fabulous she has gotten on well with our other dog they are best buddies she runs him around and he is a huge shepard bordercollie mix. They love spending time at the barn playing. She loves her new family and we love her. She needs some work in the potty training department and she has a crate to help with this. She is a blessing and we love her me and my three daughters shower her with love and attention. When we say benson (her puppy) she gets a sad face. Our cats don't appreciate her much but everyone is adjusting well. Laurene capone (bitsy's new mom)

Harley

Dear Kathy, Thank you so much for touching base with us in regard to our recent adoption of Harley. The CONGRATULATIONS should go to you folks at A Second Chance Rescue.........we are just the recipients of a wonderful, loving and adorable little Shih Tzu puppy, who has fit into our family like a glove on a hand. We have a five year old female and the two of these darling companions are jumping, running, playing sharing toys and loving us to pieces. They sleep in our bed with us, walk and play together and charm everyone they meet. Harley has also made good friends with his cousins, a German Shepherd mix, a Border Collie mix, and a Sharpe mix..............who come buy to visit him and play in our fenced garden. The giving and caring people at A Second Chance Rescue do a fabulous job of matching up families with homeless pets and I look forward to doing some volunteer work with you beginning in November.
