I was listed free to a good home on Craigslist in Miami.   The person who had me said she could no longer care for me as she had lost her job.  She told the rescue that my leg was amputated after I was thrown out of a car window.  She said I was five years old.  I was covered in over 200 ticks when they picked me up.

When the rescue got me, I didn't answer to the name the lady said I had so they renamed me Rocky since I have obviously fought through some medical obstacles.  Dr. Fox said I am somewhere between 5 and 9 years old so the rescue is listing me at 8.  I had an ear infection and am on meds now to clear that up.  My teeth are bad, so the rescue is getting my teeth cleaned next week.  I have a heart murmur and cataracts that are bad in both eyes (probably from when I was a young dog that were not treated).  Neither the heart murmur or cataracts needs anything done now.  Dr. Fox thinks I am almost blind, yet I still get around.  I am also missing my left rear leg but that doesn't stop me either.  I am housebroken.  I am looking for an older couple who will let me live out my life with them.  I am very sweet.
