My name is Witness because I am in the Canine Witness Protection Program!  The man who rescued me witnessed my owner beating the crap out of me with a PVC pipe.  When he went in the house, I ran to a nearby store where this man followed me and gently saved me.  I was covered in angray red welts and abrasions all over my body. My rescuer called the police and they asked him why he was calling them if the owner was, "only beating his own dog".  Needless to say, I am never going back there.  My new life awaits me here in FL.  I am very gentle and sweet.
