I came here on a cargo plane from the Humane Society of the Grand Bahamas in Freeport.  I was part of a huge puppy lift that saved many of our lives by sending us to rescues throughout the United States.  My journey was only about a half hour but some of us got on big Delta planes at Ft. Lauderdale Airport and headed to Denver, Atlanta and Boston!  Others were driven to rescues in central FL.  I am what is referred to as a Royal Bahamian Potcake, a recognized breed of dogs in the Bahamas.
