Description:Meet Noelle: A Sweet, Smart, and Resilient Pup Looking for Her Forever Home!
Noelle is a gentle, intelligent young pup with a heart full of love and a brave spirit. She’s currently being treated for an immune-related condition that her vets believe is either Steroid-Responsive Meningitis-Arteritis (SRMA) or Immune-Mediated Polyarthritis (IMPA). She will need further testing by a neurologist for a proper diagnosis. Both conditions are not contagious and are very manageable with proper care—and thankfully, Noelle is already responding well to treatment!
About Her Condition
SRMA and IMPA are autoimmune conditions that cause inflammation—either in the protective layers around the spinal cord (SRMA) or in the joints (IMPA). Both are treated with immune-suppressing medications like steroids. With a dedicated care plan, most dogs with these conditions go on to live full and happy lives. Noelle is currently on a tapering dose of steroids, and her progress is encouraging.
Important Note: Because of her condition, Noelle cannot receive vaccines for at least two years, as they could trigger an immune system flare. Her adopter will need to work closely with a veterinarian to manage this safely.
Noelle’s Personality
•Sweet & Smart: Noelle is incredibly loving, eager to learn, and very in tune with her people.
•Animal-Loving: She adores playing with other dogs, loves cats, and enjoys farm life with her foster goats and donkey.
•People-Focused: While she enjoys playing with other dogs and gets along with cats, what Noel truly loves most is spending time with people—she’s happiest when she’s close to her humans.
•Farm Life Approved: She’s done great around goats and even a donkey, but she’d be just as content in a home without other animals.
•Building Confidence: Noelle can be a little nervous at times, but she’s making great strides with gentle support from her foster family.
A Few Things to Know
Due to her medication, Noelle drinks and urinates more frequently, so she’s still working on potty training—but she’s making excellent progress with routine and patience.
Noelle's Ideal Forever Home
•A calm, stable home with a family willing to follow her care plan
•A commitment to no vaccines for the next two years, per veterinary guidance
•Someone comfortable partnering with a vet to support her immune health
•Other animals are welcome but not required—what Noel wants most is to be your loyal sidekick
Noee is a truly special girl. She’s already overcome so much and is ready to blossom in a forever home filled with love, understanding, and a little extra care.
If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a one-of-a-kind pup, Noel would love to meet you. Reach out to learn more about this amazing girl!
