Maris is a 40lb Boxer Terrier mix. She is a bundle of love and enjoys lots of snuggles, long walks and stomach pets once she gets to know you. She is initially very timid but bonds heavily with those she trusts. Maris is a protective dog who likes to make sure those she loves are safe (dogs and people). As a boxer, she does have some destructive chewing tendencies and is very protective but proper chewing toys help. She would like a lot of room to run around. She does well with her foster family's small dog. She will need some training but she is willing to learn and always looking to please.
