Lucy is a sweet and playful pup that loves everyone she meets, from other dogs to children. She is a cattle dog/Boston terrier mixed breed that is Housebroken, crate trained and a good sleeper, going 9pm to 7am without a peep. She loves to go for walks on the leash, explore the outdoors and play fetch. She will follow you everywhere you go and sit at your feet or cuddle quietly at the end of the day. 
Some would say Lucy is the ideal pup. Unfortunately, at 16 weeks Lucy was diagnosed as deaf after some testing was done was done to confirm assumptions. She was adopted by a family that live ppmost of the time on a farm where other dogs, cattle and machinery are present and the lack of hearing diagnosis confirmed that this environment would not provide the safe home that she will need. Her adoptive parents are heartbroken but know that for Lucy to live a long, happy  life she will need a safe and loving home with owners that will be willing to work with her to learn hand signals to communicate and keep her out of harms way.  She is alert and a quick learner with lots of love to give.
