Hi Peter!
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Ours was nice and quiet ... Well, except for the little antics of Cha Cha and Molly, which are always a fun sight to see.
Just wanted to send you a recent picture that I took of them on Thanksgiving Day.  As you can see, Cha Cha is doing beautifully!  She plays the mother role to Molly, running to her whenever she hears her cry.  She's the best!  I'm so glad we have her!

                                                                                         Chacha

Best to you and yours!

Gillisby

Hi to the folks at A Second Chance Rescue, We decided to rename Gillisby and took a family vote, his new name is Cooper. Cooper and the family are adjusting together well. We know Cooper is very loving and cute, but we naturally think he is a real smart dog too! Cooper is a great addition to our family that includes teenagers, a cat and an older dog. See the attached photo taken on 1/21/12 (approx. 17 weeks old, 24 pounds). We are still unable to figure what his blood line could be, a Doberman, Rat Terrier, etc? Does A Second Chance Rescue have any other information on Cooper that could be helpful? A proud parent, Tom Jackson

Kathy, We have been so excited to have Lucy as part of our family. She was our New Years blessing, after we lost our new Christmas Puggle. She has been getting along great with her 4 boys and Yellow Lab sister Lola. She loves to play fetch, go on walks and has a healthy appetite! She has become a mini raw hide bone queen! She prefers hers pre-chewed by her older sister, and neither of them seem to be bothered by this...it's quite a laugh. She also loves waking up the boys in the morning and crawling next to them (only after being lifted into bed...(her little legs are too stubby!) to nibble on their hair and lick their faces. She has been lots of fun and extra love, and we are so happy to have her as part of our family. Thank You for everything that your rescue does, we are so grateful! We have even been in constant contact with Shelly and look forward to possibly adopting again soon....our family has lots of love to share! We are so grateful to A Second Chance...you really were for both of us! We can't thank you enough! All our prayers for your amazing rescue group. We wish you continued success and hope to volunteer/help out anyway we can in the future. We have even reccommended you to several people already! Thanks for making this a very Happy New Year! We hope it will be the same for A Second Chance Rescuers and Animals!

Pebbles
Pebbles

Even though Pebbles is an extremely cute name, we call her Zoey. She is doing very well. I called Barb and left a message on her progress. She went through some separation anxiety leaving her I'm sure, but has bonded to me (Marilyn) just fine. She goes to the dog beach in Jupiter every day. Not wanting to take the plunge in the ocean yet, but we're working on it. Every day just gets better and we love our little Potcake. We'll keep you posted on her progress any time. Utopia

Hi Kathy, I got your emails regarding Ugenia (now known as Lily) & Utopia (now Daisy) – they are both doing great! They are very sweet, and have adjusted very well to our home. I can’t believe we have had them for over a month now, time has gone by so quickly! We really love them, and are so thankful to your organization for rescuing them.
